Overview

Battle For Independence is a real time strategy game set in the future, with two teams (governmental agents and rebels) struggling for the supremacy of the planet.

The game is a multiplayer game only and is played over the internet by up to 12 players (6 versus 6).

Each player controls one special unit with unique special powers that can level up and buy items to become more powerful.

The computer regularly sends weak units towards enemy camps using 3 main paths but only the players' special units can make a real difference.

The first team to destroy the enemy main building wins the game.

The game doesn't contain any persistent element (except statistics, reputation and ranking), as if you were playing a board game.
So the user can try new tactics each game without impacting on the next one.

The game is inspired by a Warcraft 3 mod (named DOTA) but set in another universe and without the limitations of BattleNet and Warcraft 3, offering a more suitable interface and much better support for the community. Release Date: 1st December 2007
