You can interact with the little guy in whatever way you have available. The more damage you cause to your buddy, the more money you receive. As you gain more money, you can buy new items and powers to damage your little buddy. If you feel bad hurting the little gray blob, you can buy new skins to make him into something you would like to injure. There are also different modes you can buy such as low gravity. Your progress is always saved, so you don't lose your purchased items when you want to take a break.
