Tribal Warriors Released!

I am pleased to announce the release of the Tribal Warriors film.
It is a storybased movie using the Tribes 2 game-engine for the footage. All characters you see are actually people controling them from all over the world. In fact, there were 167 actors, spread over all scenes. In addition, i made the effects reacting on the music.

Machinima - Games as Tool Workshop

I recently got an email from a teacher that there will be held a workshop for starting movie makers from februari the 27th till march second. The costs are 250 euro's, if you are a student you get a 100 euro discount and it will be located in Amsterdam.

"In the hands of some very experienced Machinima makers, the participants find out what Machinima can do. They learn how to make Machinima, they get to see a lot of great Machinima, and make their own Machinima movies.
In this 4-day workshop participants make their own machinima movies or game based projects, guided by experienced machinimamakers and animators.

The workshop provides you with the skills and knowledge you need to create your own Machinima, or to further improve your skills if you already tried your hand at it.

Besides technical instructions on set design, character creation, re-camming and post production, we will focus on cinematic and artistic possibilites of shooting film in 3d engines."
