Zombie Smash

Zombie Smash is my brain child and labor of love. I design, produce, program the game and provide a portion of its graphics. The game is being programmed in the BlitzMax coding language and the graphics are drawn primarily in MS Paint, simply because I am old-fashioned.

In the game, you will play the role of a low ranking, inexperienced, poorly equipt and uninformed space marine that has been landed in a zombie-infested space colony. There will be several varients of gameplay available in both single player and multiplayer modes, but the staple themes featured in the game will be horror, survival and the slaughter of vast hordes of horrible monsters. The game will feature unified online multiplayer support for PC, Mac and Linux platforms and will be appropriately explody and bloody.

Zombie Smash is built upon the premise of an alternate timeline where the 3d game revolution never happened. The aim of this project is to produce an enjoyable, commercial quality title within the confines of 2d SNES style graphics. Aside from the graphical restrictions, newer breakthroughs in game design and technology will be utilized to manifest in a unique gameplay experience.
