Following a 7-year career in professional digital imaging work, Russell began in the gaming industry in 2002 as a texture and UI artist at Motorsports Simulations, Inc. He eventually co-founded Sickhead Games, a full-time independent game development studio in Dallas, Tx. where he acts as lead artist currently hard at work on proprietary IP and development tools. Russell also served as lead game designer for Batman Begins Mobile and lead artist on a Harry Potter title at Klear Games in 2005, created the TGB Adventure Kit in 2006 for Sickhead Games, and teaches digital arts at Dallas area colleges and universities.
